First Blog for the ninakoff house!

So, this is the first ever blog for the Nine/Ribakoff household, happily nicknamed the ninakoff household, and I figured since we are married and have alot of family and friends, this would be a good start of keeping up to date with the comings and goings.

So first off, my name is Jessica, the hubby is Nathaniel (Nate) and we have one cooking in the oven (such a nine way to say im pregnant isn't it?) Nate and I have been married since March of this year and are living in such far north west dallas you may as well call it carrollton! We are both working at Mcdonalds, I as a manager and Nate as a crew trainer, living paycheck to paycheck, but hey, as Pa Ingalls always said, never despise meager beginnings. (I think he said that....someone much wiser than I did that's for sure) The pregnancy is going well so far (I miscarried earlier this year so needless to say we are nervous and excited) I am 3 months along now, and man oh man, this baby sure does give momma a run for her money! I have all the textbook symptoms, morning sickness, fatigue, emotional, a need to cry for no reason and yell for no reason (I know when I am doing it, but can't stop! I feel so bad for Nate sometimes) and all the other usual symptoms I am sure that should be left in the bedroom...HA
Nate is starting to get more excited as more time passes and he has started to sing me to sleep more often (he is very talented at both guitar and singing) and I find him sometimes cuddling and talking to my ever growing belly. We are nervous that we may not the be the best parents, but I hope and pray that we are half the parents that we both had growing up....our child will be loved no matter what!

Anyways, there really is not much to tell, other than what we like to do in our free time or days that we have off together. Nate and I love movies and music and sometimes movies about music or music that is in movies, yea, you get the idea. I am falling in love again with that wonderful bald head of Jean-Luc Picard as we are watching Star Trek Next Generation, (working our way through all the Start treks) When we don't feel like watching movies, we like to take a trip down to our local Half Price Books store and spend hours pouring over books and vinyl and all sorts of goodies they have there! We also make sure we set aside plenty of time to play video games such as Super Mario Bros and Pokemon! (yes we are basically big nerds) We are happy and young and very bored! We have a tendency to eat out at Panda Express and Jimmy Johns alot (who doesnt like yummy chinese and amazing sub sammiches!) and are loving life!

So, there you have it...not much but its a start. I will keep ya'll posted as dr visits come and go and life goes on. Until then, have a FANTASMIGORICAL day ya'll!

:-D

This is one of the first few pictures of us....and pretty much describes our relationship :)

(and for a reason I cannot explain, I can't upload any more pictures for now, but rest assured, they will come)
